Overnight Chia Oats Recipe

So since oats are definitely a staple in my diet and I have eaten them at least once a day for like the past 3 years.. I figured I’d share my recipe for my favorite overnight oats! It’s so good + full of protein (20 grams) and carbs and fats as well so it makes a perfect breakfast and / or pre or post workout meal. So.. here we go!

You’ll need:
– oats (50 grams of raw oats)
– chia seeds (1 tsp / 5-10 grams)
– protein powder (20 grams)
– cinnamon (optional)
– water (or plant based milk if you’d like – 100 ml)

Now, simply mix all of the ingredients together and put it in the fridge overnight! Or for just 2 hours will work as well. Then top it with a fruit of your choice (a banana, a kiwi, etc), add some 100% almond butter or nut butter of your choice and enjoy! šŸ¤—
In the photo I made half of the oats with protein powder and half of them without. The protein powder I currently use is “Raw Organic Green Vanilla Protein Superfood Powder” from Lifefood. Also you can add more or less oats / chia seeds if you’d like of course, but this is just what I do. I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you try it out!
